The Harrison GB guitar was a collaboration between Doug and respected jazz guitarist Gary Benson. Both wanted an instrument with archtop qualities, but without the tendency to feed back at higher volume levels. This body design satisfies both requirements, offers increased sustain, and makes the guitar very comfortable to play — whether sitting or standing. The Classic GB is available with or without “F” holes.

The position of the sound holes — away from the center — allows the central section of the top to be wider and more directly affected by the bridge vibration.
To further increase fullness, the side port acts as a monitor to the player without reducing the forward sound projection. The pickguard is positioned so as not to obstruct the treble side sound hole.
